The Skärgårdsleden Project Trademark
The object of the Project is to create and market the Skärgårdsleden trademark. In the long run the trademark shall guarantee top-class activities, services and all-inclusive packages for the visitors along the entire Skärgårdsleden, also in autumn, winter and spring seasons.

The Trademark Skärgårdsleden Project
The Trademark Skärgårdsleden Project is an Interreg III A Archipelago project. The co-operation in the scope of the project is implemented by three regions, them being Roslagen, Åland, Åbo/Turku Archipelago and Western Nyland/Uusimaa, of which the two latter ones form one region. Several financing instances in the different regions participate in financing of the project and the head instance is the Southwest Polytechnic in Ekenäs/Tammisaari, Finland.

The objective of the Project is to create good regional and inter-regional cooperation in the scope of rural development, environment and tourism projects in order to promote development aims in the archipelago area. Entrepreneurs in the archipelago area, including entrepreneurs in the outer archipelago, shall be given the opportunity to participate in the project and to experience developed in the scope of Skärgårdsleden. Tourism is a growing industry seeking its place and form in business; at the same time as it is gaining more importance in social economy.

The aim of the project is to create and market the Skärgårdsleden trademark. On the long run, the trademark shall guarantee the visitors activity services and all-inclusive packages available along Skärgårdsleden, also in the autumn, winter and spring seasons. Tourist information services and services and products offered by suppliers in the scope of the entire Skärgårdsleden will guarantee the visitors good information and opportunities to book and purchase arrangements according to their wishes. The visitors shall be given relevant information about the versatile selection available in each and every region.
